More Teasers & some Timeframes!

No way, news time?

It's been a hot minute since we posted any proper news on the discord and especially on here. (this post is mostly identical with the one on Discord, however you'll get more frequent news by joining us!)
Todays Teaser consists of 3 In-Engine Renders as well as a little bit of gameplay footage.
Please keep in mind that this is still very much work in progress footage (should be pretty obvious with all the Floating text, coloured shapes and everything flying about) and especially framerate is not representative of the final product.

Talking about performance...
I'm planning to create a benchmark version of the game similar to what Project Borealis did. This version won't have any actual gameplay, but it'll help us gauge what kind of hardware we can expect to be running on. This will enable us to potentially optimize certain scenarios much better, verify that there are no issues on certain hardware, and last but not least, we'll be able to provide minimum and recommended specs when the game releases, based on this data.
One more important thing to note with this is that while the data will be relatively anonymous, it won't be just sent to us automatically when you use the benchmark. I'll be posting more specific info on how it works when it's ready, but you will probably have to manually send the data to us. The current plan is to release this tool some time this month.

Now for some bigger news!
We've got a Timeframe for the first Demo Release!
The plan is to release a first playable Demo of the game some time this year. The demo won't be anywhere close to being a finished, polished and full game however. It'll be a partially complete Light Containment Zone likely with a couple SCPs missing.
The reasons for doing this are pretty simple: It helps motivate the Team more, you get to have a first peak at the Game and we'll be able to have some more thorough playtesting and get Feedback on what's Good, Bad or needs some tweaking!

And now for some more miscellaneous news- We'll be posting weekly sneak peeks over on the Discord from now on. Probably not forever but It's something we wanna try out for a bit. The stuff posted there might not always show something too interesting or new but doing this should improve both transparency and our own productivity.

Welp, that's it from me for today.
If you have any more questions send them in the commends or join the Discord and hop into #questions and ask away!

Thanks for sticking with us and have a great day!

Also please add option to disable the side to side head bobbing. I dont know why so many devs try to force this nauseating effect in so many first person games
